Pearl Cleage
While living in Atlanta, Crystal performed at 7 Stages, Georgia Shakespeare, Synchronicity, The Alliance, and Theatre-in-the-Square. She received her MFA from The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and studied at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Art. She served as an alumni volunteer for Miss Porter’s School, a panelist for DeKalb County Office of Arts, Culture & Entertainment, and an auditor for the Governor’s Honor’s Program. Currently, Crystal is on leave from her Assistant Professor of Drama position at Spelman College. She is living in New York where she recently had the pleasure of performing for the 52nd Street Project with her husband, Brandon Dirden.
