Christine Verderese
Christine Verderese is recent graduate of the MFA Performing Arts program at the Savannah College of Art and Design and is ecstatic to be a part of Hair at 7 Stages! She has previously performed with the Steamer 10 children’s theatre in Albany, NY and choreographed at Schuylerville Children’s Summer Theatre in New York for School House Rock Live, Jr. Most recently she completed her thesis show Wicked Little Stage: A Burlesque Revue, which she created, directed and performed in. She also holds BA and AA degrees in musical theatre from the University of Tampa and Dean College, where she was nominated for the Irene Ryan Scholarship Competition for her portrayal of Diana Morales in A Chorus Line. Other favorite shows include: The Pajama Game (Gladys), Tommy (Specialist, Ensemble), Lend Me a Tenor (Maria), A Funny Thing…Forum (Gymnasia), Macbeth (Witch), Nine (Stephanie Necrophorous) and Beehive: The 60’s Musical (Soloist/Ensemble). During her years within higher education she also performed in, created, and directed Emotional Overload: A Cabaret (SCAD) and A Night of Rent Music (Dean). Christine plans on expanding on her comedic abilities and fully cultivating her background in music post-Hair.
