This year, join The C.H.O.I.R.!
The C.H.O.I.R. (Community Hosted Opportunities Inside Rehearsal) is a program at 7 Stages that allows you to get inside our work like no audience members anywhere else in Atlanta. By signing up for this innovative program, you will follow 7 Stages’ productions from day one of rehearsal through the performance. Since 7 Stages produces the best of local, national, and international contemporary theatre, this puts you at the cutting-edge of performance in the world today — right along with writers, actors, technicians and directors.
A docent from the theatre guides you through the first reading (with actors, directors, and designers all in attendance), a rehearsal during the process, and a dress rehearsal. Then join us to see the show in full. This is an incredible opportunity to see the artistic process in action, and to feel like you are a part of work we produce — because you are. It is also a chance to speak with and learn from playwrights, actors, directors, and designers, who will generously engage your questions as you gain insight into the world of the play.
The cost of the program is free. All we ask is that you commit to purchasing a ticket to see the production in full once rehearsals are over.
