Round
by Red Cabinet Theater
This world premiere performance work revolves around Gertrude Stein’s The World is Round, a wonder tale about a girl named Rose who goes on a journey in search of herself. Follow Rose’s perilous trek up the mountain to the true blue sky at the Top of Everywhere. Help chart her course through the places where wild animals come out of the ground and where thoughts circle round and round and round. Created by Margaret Baldwin, Ralph Del Rosario, and Daniel Hilton with an ensemble of students and alumni from the KSU Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, this little play of words, images, and chance probes the nature of roundness and the heart of being.
