Lady Lay takes a joy ride through life’s rules and regulations. Marianne has worked at the West Berlin Employment office all her life. When she hears Bob Dylan on the radio her world is forever changed and the wall falls down, so does a desk, and Dylan himself. Although she can hardly understand the words of this inspirational new music, she knows she must begin a personal revolution that puts her very existence in jeopardy.

There are many natural, mystical, and man-made occurrences of the number 7, such as the seven days of creations, seven as a lucky number, the 7 seven deadly sins, etc. The number is shrouded in faith, fear, hope, and mystery. 7 Trumpets will explore these ideas that have confounded man for centuries, and turn it on its head.
