People Make the Place 2023 – Little 5 Points Alliance
Join us on Sunday, August 13 from 5-7:30pm as this year’s awardees, Charis Books and More and Moods Music share their stories and role in creating the Little 5 Points we know and love today.
The evening’s program will include a storytelling variety show with Dad’s Garage improv, live local music, and spoken word artist Theresa Davis. The attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Mr. Totem, world-renowned graffiti artist and muralist, for a new mural project dedicated to bridging L5P’s history and today’s counter culture. This year we’re getting the community more involved with our new Spirit of L5P Award and all attendees, including the winner, will find out at the event!
The evening also includes drinks, community, and lite bites by Tamie Cook Catering (sponsored by the Neighborhood Church) while celebrating Little 5 Points. The event is sponsored by ChadSells.com along with over 30 independent businesses and longtime supporters. $50 tickets onsale at L5PA.com
