    Dennis Rowe Entertainment Presents Port Chicago 50

    Direct from Hollywood and New York, Port Chicago 50 is a theatrical stage play about African American Sailors who were recruited by the United Stages Navy to work in a navy shipyard in Port Chicago (California) where dangerous artillery were loaded onto ships to support WWII. Something goes terribly wrong? There was a blast and 320 (of which 202 were Black) were killed. Meet the Sailors and relive their journey in this critically acclaimed production.  Inspired by true events from 1944.

    August 1917. Wilfred Owen, a 24-year-old shell-shocked British soldier, meets the famous poet, soldier, and war protestor Siegfried Sassoon at Craiglockhart War Hospital in Scotland. Their mutual love of poetry and disillusionment with the war draws them together, sparking a powerful friendship. Their story is a testament to the enduring power of love and poetry.
