“For a Dream” is a heartfelt and honest new play that follows two best friends and roommates, De and Lettie, as they wrestle with the push and pull of reality versus ambition. With one grounded in survival and the other lifted by joy and hope, their opposing views on life—and how to escape their small town for a future in Atlanta—challenge their bond and force them to make life-changing decisions. Full of humor, tension, and warmth, “For a Dream” explores friendship, struggle, and the courage it takes to chase something more.
